Presenters

The conference aims to encourage the sharing of new research in a relaxed atmosphere: collars and ties, etc. are not required. Authors are requested to note the following arrangements for the presentation of papers and posters.

Papers

Within the programme, presenters of papers will be allocated approximately 30 minutes for their paper. Talks should be about 25 minutes long, leaving 5 minutes for questions and discussion.

The usual presentation facilities will be available:

  • Projector and PC/lapto with PowerPoint software
  • Opportunity to connect your own laptop
  • (Static) overhead projector
  • Internet access

Please contact a member of the organising team on arrival if you have any specific requirements.

Posters

Posters may be displayed in any reasonable format. An area up to A1 size, either landscape or portrait orientation will be available for each poster. Poster presenters may prepare a single, large poster or simply display the pages of their original submission or use any appropriate combination of text and diagrams.

Although there are allocated poster sessions within the programme, during which time poster authors/presenters are expected to be available to discuss their work with delegates, poster space will be available throughout the conference. Posters may be displayed, and will be visible, from the beginning of the conference to the end.
